The objective of this project was to re-design a website, trying to utilize interactivity and improve the overall user experience within the webpage. The re-design of the website needed to be nostalgic and funky, much like the record store in Atlanta. Criminal Records is a staple in the culture of the city, holding events and performances for small crowds and fans, and is fundamental in keeping the neighborhood of Little Five Points creative and eccentric. I took inspiration from music and culture from the 70’s to establish a baseline of imagery for the website, trying to maintain a cohesive look that still showcased the many albums and artists featured. The typography was kept relatively modern and sleek, and the scheme kept to black and white. Featured in the Auburn University Graphic Design Juried Show (2019).
